29 February: Water Emerging Contaminants & Nanoplastics (WEC&N) was officially accepted for inclusion in Scopus.

21 February: Announcement of New Editors-in-Chief of WEC&N. Profs. Daoji Li from East China Normal University, China, and Joana C Prata from University Institute of Health Sciences - CESPU (IUCS-CESPU), Portugal, will take over from Prof. Antonio Ginebreda to lead the journal as the Editors-in-Chief.
