On the occasion of the 12th National Congress of FIME

Naples, September 12–14, 2025

We are pleased to announce a Special Issue of Plastic and Aesthetic Research (PAR), organized in collaboration with FIME – Federazione Italiana Medici Estetici – to coincide with the 12th National Congress, taking place in Naples from September 12 to 14, 2025.

Titled “Label or Off-Label: This Is the Dilemma”, the Congress reflects the scientific rigor and dynamic evolution of the contemporary aesthetic medicine. It will convene leading experts from Italy and across Europe to explore the most relevant and debated issues in the field.

Key topics will include:

● Facial fillers forchallenging or emerging indications (e.g., forehead recontouring, perioral myomodulation);

● Expanded applications of botulinum toxin(e.g., platysmal bands, masseter hypertrophy);

● Scar management strategies;

● Advances in energy-based devices and integratedaesthetic protocols.

This Special Issue aims to provide a platform for original research, clinical experiences, innovative techniques, and critical reviews. We warmly invite researchers and clinicians to submit scientific articles, case-based reports, or reviews that address the Congress themes or broader issues related to label and off-label use in aesthetic medicine.
