Guest Editor
Special Issue Introduction
Oxide nanostructures, with their vast compositional diversity and tunable properties, have emerged as a cornerstone of modern materials science and engineering. Their unique electronic, optical, magnetic, and catalytic characteristics make them indispensable for a wide array of advanced technologies. Unlocking the full potential of these materials depends critically on achieving atomic-level control over their synthesis and structural design.
This Special Issue aims to highlight the latest advancements in oxide nanomaterials where atomic precision reigns. We invite contributions that explore the fundamental principles governing atomic-scale growth, assembly, and modification, as well as sophisticated characterization and device integration.
The pursuit of atomic-level control is driven by the demand for enhanced performance across multiple sectors. In energy applications, such control enables high-efficiency catalysts, battery electrodes, solar cells, and thermoelectric devices. In nanoelectronics, it is vital for next-generation transistors, memory devices, and sensors. For wearable and flexible electronics, precisely tailored oxide nanostructures are crucial for transparent conductors, sensors, and stretchable energy storage.
Submissions may include reviews, experimental studies, or computational work. By bringing together interdisciplinary research, this issue seeks to inspire innovative solutions and serve as a valuable resource for researchers in the field.
